We have been beyond lucky to have @kathryn_ivey_ joining us on the farm this year as our 2019 apprentice. She lives in our tiny house and milks the goats and gives them lots of love in addition to caramell’ing, cheesing, gardening, Airbnb’ing and keeping an eagle eye on our goats when we leave town making sure they don’t drag us home early. Thanks @kathryn_ivey_ for being so lovely!

We are just finishing a rotation up on our neighbors pastures who very generously let our goats roam through. It is a little more work to get them up and over the hill after milking each morning, but the extra week of fresh forage is extremely helpful - and the moving of the goats each morning has become a Maisie favorite. #pastureraised #rotationalgrazing #grass #vermont
