One thing that has been fascinating to watch on the farm is the way our does pass on their taste buds to their daughters. Some of our goats undeniably like leaves better than grass, or acorns over apples, or ferns over pine. 

Above you see three generations of ladies: Cy and her daughter Eva both picking some choice oak leaves out of their new pasture and Gertrude (Cy’s mom) stripping bark with Cy.  

And on another note: a little mind boggling that in 5 months we will welcome our fourth generation of goats to Big Picture Farm!
